Party Time

Luke 8 months old.
Adam and Bekah came through and stayed with us last Tuesday night on there way back to Utah from South Carolina. It was really fun seeing them. We had dinner and played games.
The Candia family also joined the party and it was fun seeing them too. We haven't seen them is a while and Baby Jakob is getting sooo big. He is already caught up to Luke and will be passing him in size very soon!
Great minds think alike! Dani and I had Jake and Luke both dressed in the very same outfit for the night! They looked cute and it was fun getting them together!

Mini Trail Family Reunion

Meet Aunt Florence! This is my Grandpa Trail's sister. I never met my Grandpa as he died when he was 54. This my dad's only living relative in the generation above him. (I don't know if that even makes sense.) She is now 90 and that is why we all went to the party! This is my Aunt Debbie (my dad's younger sister), Great Aunt Florence, and my Dad.

This is who was able to come from my extended family... not too many of us but it was sure fun to see everyone who was able to make it. We had a great afternoon and then drove to Estes Park for dinner and fun that evening. I sure loved meeting my Grandpa's sister although I don't know him and I don't even really know her but fun!!!

Eliches

Well Josh's company took all the families to Six Flags Elich Gardens on Saturday. Josh got home Friday night from Atlanta and we went on Saturday for just a couple of hours as we had a Trail Family reunion on Saturday afternoon in Greeley.

Our first ride of the day was the Ferris Wheel... the whole family could go on that ride so that was a lot of fun!

Luke fell asleep and was out for most of our time at the Park!
Levi and Josh went on Shipwreck falls. It is like the log ride at Disneyland but you get a whole lot wetter! A huge splash then under the bridge was a waterfall you have to go under to finish you off. Levi loved the water rides the best!!!
This is the after picture!  They got soaked all the way through!

Levi and I on a rafting ride.  He had already gone on it once and as soon as he came off he wanted to go again with mom this time!

Nice action shot!  We should sell this to the amusement park!
Levi hated the ghost busters ride! He was scared of the ghosts and witches and actually dreamed about them a couple of nights ago. He woke up and told josh that he was shooting witches and ghosts in his dreams. Sorry Levi I guess we shouldn't have taken you on that ride quite yet!

I took Levi on a couple of more age appropriate rides while Josh went and rode the Tower of Doom.

Overall, we had a blast and Levi can't wait until he's 42 inches tall and can go on all the big boy rides!

Lemonade Anyone?!

The rest of the week we spent in Granby! We had fun and Levi loved playing with his cousins. Above is Jake and Levi sporting there amazing crowns I made for them and they wore those crowns out!
So my niece, Katie, set up this Lemonade stand in my parents front yard and made $16.50 in two hours of work! I know she is cute but I used to sit out there for hours and the most I ever made was $3.00! How is this fair? She even had a semi stop and give her two dollars with out wanting any lemonade!!! The injustice of it all! She had a great time and took home a good salary!

Great Grandpa and Grandma Duck

Josh had to travel for work last week to Atlanta, so we were excited to go and visit family. We left Monday and went to my Grandparents house in Buena Vista. We had a great time visiting with them and staying for a couple of days. Levi was sure that while my Grandpa had the door open at night to cool down the house that a bear was going to come in. He kept shutting the door to keep out the bears!!!Levi, Luke, and Grandma Duck at the Arkansas River throwing rocks.

They sure loved us being there and we sure loved going. It was fun to meet my cousins new baby and see my Uncle as well. I wish we could go more often but it was so fun to spend a couple of days with them! Super fun!!!
